MUCOMENTOL

MUCOMENTOL has active ingredients such as bromhexine, eucalyptol and guaifenesin, which gives it expectorant and mucoregulatory properties. They fragment the fibers of the mucopolysaccharides of the mucus to reduce its viscosity and therefore facilitate its removal by ciliary action, expectorating and decongesting the tracheo-bronchial tree.

Menthol is a natural compound obtained from peppermint known to be an effective decongestant, antitussive and expectorant: It also strengthens the immunity of poultry to various diseases. The presence of menthol reduces irritation of the mucous membranes and provides a refreshing sensation, which is why it is indicated in conditions of heat stress.
